The Power of Jesus’ Flesh and Blood

“Those who eat my flesh and drink my blood have eternal life, and I will cause them to become alive again at ◄the last day/the judgment day.” – John 6:54 (T4T)

It appears as though this generation is losing something on the value of Jesus’ Flesh and Blood in the life our a Believer and where value is unknown abuse is inevitable. In a season the miracle of loaves of bread was still fresh in their minds and the Manna central to the history of the people, Jesus rose to the occasion saying, “those who eat My flesh and drink My blood have eternal life…” The symbol talks about Christ’s death and how those who partake of the benefit it brings are assured of eternal life through faith.

Here, Jesus’ Flesh and Blood speaks of the provision of spiritual nourishment to our inner man and unlike the Manna that tend to death, this spiritual nourishment tends to life – Life to the soul and even the body of the believer, for that which will give life to the soul has power to give life to the body also. Though some rejected this word, we recieving it in faith have forgiveness, redemption and eternal life. So, partaking of the Holy Communion should be an act of faith, realizing that the Bread and the Wine today, symbolic of His Flesh and Blood still has miraculous power.

Activation Prayer: Thank You Lord for the Communion of the Body and Blood of Christ. As I recieve it in faith, let the spiritual nourishment and the physical benefits it brings become evident in my life in Jesus name. Amen.

‘Stop Staggering’

“He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God.” -Romans 4:20

We mostly attribute the word ‘to stagger’ to those who are drunk yet, we have many believers though not drunk with wine but staggering at the things they should be firm about – the Promise of God. Many today are staggering about the promise of Eternal life in Heaven, of healings and deliverance from habits, abundance, fruit of the womb etc. But, know this, God can make a Promise that sounds impossible to the your ear but, impossible is nothing to Him and to any of His child walking by faith.

For many, it’s the size of the problem they are confronted with that causes them to stagger or loose faith, for others it’s how long they’ve been drawn in that fight (or problem) and people laughing at them that causes them to waver. But today, you can stop staggering and start ‘faithing-up’ like Abraham on the promises God gave you. Unbelief (or lack of faith) makes you unstable, but faith makes you stable and the promises for you reachable in Christ. You can stop staggering today by:
i. Holding firmly to God’s sure promises by faith.
ii. Giving Him glory for miracles that are yet to come through.
You’ll win more today if you don’t stagger anymore.

Activation Prayer: Today, I declare in faith, I will stagger no more at God’s promises over my life. I cast off unbelief and doubt. And I recieve now by faith God’s promises for my healing, deliverance, joy and breakthroughs etc in Jesus name. Amen.

Your Accuser is Thrown Out!

“Then I heard someone in heaven shout loudly, saying, Now our God has saved his people by his power, and he rules everyone! Now the Messiah, the one who is the supreme ruler whom God appointed, has authority to rule all people, because our God has thrown out of heaven the one who accuses our fellow believers! The dragon is the one who accuses them day and night before our God, saying that they have sinned and that God ought to punish them.” -Revelation 12:10 (T4T)

I just feel like shouting to everyone reading this now, “You are free and totally free; no charge against you at all!”
To you having a hangover of guilt over a confessed and repented sin. You are free of that guilt.
Why? Because, the accuser has since been thrown out of place in heaven. He lost his ground already. He cannot accuse you again before God. Let this knowledge liberate you. Many times an accuser may bring up false accusation because he/she has a listening, but I tell you, your accuser has no more listening before God because he has been thrown out. Throwing him out was good ridance to a bad rubbish. How long will you tolerate the bad rubbish of his lingering accusations over your life? Throw it out!

So, the best way to silence the accuser – satan, in your life is first to understand that he has no ground to accuse you anymore. Our Messiah, Christ already threw him out of place. His only power of accusation against you now is ignorance. Give him no place. Jesus seated at the right hand of the Father speaks in your favour and non can accuse you there. If there is no accuser, then there is no accusation, if there’s no accusation, then there is no condemnation (Rom 8:1). He may accuse you through bad dreams (your dream or others), bad thoughts or imaginations etc. But, you can stand on this liberating knowledge that you are free of all accusations in Christ because your accuser has been thrown out.

Activation Prayer: Thank You Jesus for throwing the accuser out for me. I stand on this authority to renounce and reject any evil accusation against me overtly or covertly, I vacate and throw them out in Jesus name. Amen.

Divine Amplifications

“So when it was getting dark, those four men went to the camp where the army of Syria had set up their tents. But when they reached the camp, they saw that there was no one there! What had happened was that Yahweh had caused the army of Syria to hear something that sounded like a large army marching with chariots and horses. So they said to each other, “Listen! The king of Israel has hired the kings of Egypt and the Heth people-group and their armies, and they have come to attack us!” -2Kings 7:5-6 (T4T)

Many times God has a away of going against our norms and way of thinking when He moves to establish His plan and purpose. The four Lepers in this account presents a good example of God making Heroes out of the most unlikely- especially when you consider the very ‘outcast status’ of these men on account of the ‘strange skin disease’ they had. Have they called you an outcast already? Then, you are still in God’s plan to bring life and hope. Elisha had spoken prophetically to the King and all with him that there was abundance coming tomorrow! And God’s word once spoken does not return void or empty without accomplishing its purpose.

When it appeared as though no one followed after to the place prophecied for manifestation, God found four lepers or misfits in society and who decided to leave their lives at the mercy of the Syrians as they crossed the lines into the Syrian camp for, “They rose up in the twilight… (vs 5 KJV). Almost as they rose, God caused the the Syrians to hear ‘amplified sounds of advancing troops’ yet the only ‘troops’ advancing were just four societal misfits (lepers). Ponder over this for a moment – Four persons whose feets could not even be firm on the ground, now their marching scares a Syrian Army armed to the teeth. What happened is that in vs 7(KJV), “They arose and fled in the twilight…” Today, as you set out, maybe you face a certain challenge, I implore you by the word of God, don’t underestimate your little steps, God will amplify your steps. God is bringing divine amplification on your efforts to give you a great result. Doesn’t matter the army you face today (of sickness, finacial problem etc). I say to you, God will cause those armies to hear ‘sounds’ and be scattered. God is ‘turning up the volumes’ in your favour. May you experience Divine Amplifications.

Activation Prayer: Father, amplify the efforts that I make for good today. Let armies be vanquished and scattered for my sake. Let your good words be fulfilled in me today in Jesus name. Amen.

Avoiding Dangerous Luxury

“But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD.” Jonah 1:3

Today, we look at the life of Jonah. There are interesting lessons for us today as believers – Jonah easily foreshadows the Believer who has received a higher calling in Christ to be an Ambassador to Christ and His Kingdom wherever He might be sent – from the living room to the boardroom and to the market place. Jonah was so privileged that God could profile him and think him suitable for that great mission to Nineveh (Jonah 1:1-2). When God gives a vision, God makes provision so that Jonah was not left without resources- money. God provided him with money to show us that great vision from God (businesses, ministry, school etc) will always attract great provision from God to carry it out.

But, it’s sad that the money provided for him to carry out his God given vision was now used to pay for a ‘cruise’ away from that same vision. Now he is heading to Tarshish, not Nineveh and both don’t sound alike. His booking for that cozy part of ship may have provided him such rare luxury over the oceans but that was certainly dangerous. So, here Jonah enjoyed such luxury but alas, it was a “dangerous luxury”. This is not just about Jonah; Friends, are we not actually ‘enjoying’ a dangerous luxury? Anytime we start to let the money, position, car, job, business, children etc that God provided us with to cause us to drift away from God or use them as ‘fare’ to carry us away from God’s plan and programs, it is a dangerous luxury. That relationship or friendship, Partying etc maybe a dangerous luxury. Run from it today! Don’t let the ‘storm and shark of life’ ‘force’ you back to God’s plan for your life. There is good luxury when we enjoy life God’s way.

Activation Prayer: Father, thank you for your blessings upon my life. May these blessings never again afford me the kind of ‘dangerous luxury’ that will lure me away from Your presence.

God Goes Before You

God goes before you

Then I said unto you, dread not, neither be afraid of them. The LORD your God which goeth before you, He shall fight for you, according to all that He did for you in Egypt before your eyes;
The LORD your God which goeth before you, He shall fight for you, according to all that He did for you in Egypt before your eyes. Deut.1:29-30

The joy of new possibilities in life is almost indescribable. But, we are many times greeted by the never-blending emotions of Fear and Faith at the threshold of the new possibilities in our lives or endeavors. And many times these great moments of possibilities wears an outer covering which the enemy negatively amplifies with fear and dread and by so doing stopping many from winning or coming into their ‘Promised Land’. But, we can leverage on Faith to maximize every moment.
Learning to leverage on our faith in God is fundamental to our winning everyday. This is what Moses suggested in our text above that we have A Goer-before -us-God Who goes like a ‘military advanced Guard’.

He does so, by fighting for us in accordance to what He has already done before – saving us from sin, accidents and troubles etc. Maybe you face situations in life that can best pass as ‘a fight’ right now. Then, like Moses, I say to you, ” The Lord your God which goeth before you, He shall fight for you,” Satan loves to make us forget what we should remember (the past victories and miracles of God on our behalf). He also loves to make us remember what we should forget (our past of sin and the self-life). But, defy him and affirm your faith today. When God goes before you, grace is goes before you and winning is certain! God goes before you this week to fight for you over sicknesses and pains; the flesh and his allurings and over troubles and hardships and is giving you victory.

Activation Prayer: Great Father, I remember with a grateful heart your wonders in my life in the time past. And I pray that You go before me to fight all my battles as I am assured of victory in Jesus name. Amen.

Beauty For Ashes

beauty for ashes

“To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.” – Isaiah 61:3

In Genesis 1:31, God created and certified you ‘very good, which implies beauty, graceful etc . So, I say, “You are Beautiful…” No matter what anyone said! This month, I pray for you: Nothing shall be permitted to put upon your head anymore the ‘ashes of sorrow, mourning and heaviness…’
Wherever there were ashes overtly or covertly put upon your head to define you, “Receive Beauty for Ashes in Jesus Name. Amen.”
Welcome to the month of June!
